Print vs. Online Ads...Over the years we have seen how the Internet has changed the way we communicate and do business. Online ads has also evolved so much quickly and made available in a lot of cheaper forms and medium, while Print ads continue to thrive away from being extinct either. We can say advantages and disadvantages over the other but in the end it still boils down to the basics such as knowing the demographic profiles of our target audience and how much we are willing to spend to get their attention. Neither of the two would be the better choice. Print Ads are more portable and have shelf-life abilities, yet there is no effective way of tracking what gets read in the hands of the audience. Online Ads have measuring software to track and trace down user clicks. They can reach a wider audience in a matter of seconds but then again, we can’t always find computers everywhere we go, and if we do, the average may spend five minutes just checking on email. And when the time comes to shell out our precious advertising budget, it would be wiser to spread the efforts instead of just pouring everything into one single container. |
